Quality of the food is good and I like that they never have a line as bad as the one on Cherry Hill Rd. I had one bad experience with the staff. I asked him to change his gloves because I saw him handling the pork they serve. He got such an attitude when I asked that (and I explained why) that I just walked out. I haven't had a problem with any others. I normally take my food to go, but the one time I sat down and ate there-- I noticed how they don't keep the place clean. The floor and tables were dirty. Oh, and the limes I order are always dried out!

The customer service sucks here. Basically what happened was, I asked for extra lettuce when she got to the lettuce section and she didn't put any extra on when I asked and proceeded to close my bowl. So I ask again, mind you VERY POLITELY cause I assumed she didn't hear me since it was pretty loud in that Chipotle at the time, she then didn't respond to me again and helped the next customer. So I said "sorry, excuse me can please I get extra lettuce?" She then looked at me, rolled her eyes and was like "yeah just give me a second" with a very agitated tone. All she had to do was acknowledge me the first time and I really wouldn't have cared less that she helped the next customer and would have waited for my extra lettuce. It's just lettuce for crying out loud, it's not that serious. I didn't need that kind of tone or look from her at all. After this experience, I really am going to try to avoid this Chipotle. The staff there, not only her were just not friendly. It's simple, if you can't stand working in customer service, just don't do it. Customers who have done nothing wrong, but give you respect, do not deserve that kind of attitude. I pride myself in treating people who work in customer service with respect and kindness being that I also work in customer service and I know exactly how it feels to deal with difficult customers. I am also a firm believer that customers aren't always right. But this was just not cool on the employee's end.

Great food but HORRIBLE staff. I placed an online order and waited about 30 minutes or so before proceeding to the location. When I arrived, was told that I had to wait. So after waiting behind three to five people (15 minutes later), was later told that the computers were down and then they proceeded to make my food order at the register only to find my during the preparations process. One guest thought that I was skipping ahead of them in the line which created some more confusion and the people behind the counter were "looking at us argue back and forth like deers caught in headlights" as we were arguing (the gentleman couldn't understand me i guess as I tried to reason with him) based on a stressful situation they had caused. No apologies, no nothing. Half of the time I order from this location itself is wrong or there's some level of problem. I think it may be an English deficiency issue but quick question....Who serves menus written in English with all instructions printed and provided to English-Speaking customers using Spanish only speaking people to do the fulfillment? Great concept but Chipotle may need to address this going forward if they're going to continue their goals towards expansion successfully. Have to scout for a new location because I love their food but I think I have had just about enough of the screw ups from this location. Today I'll go for Chinese instead.

Good and fast, I popped in for a take out lunch. Crew was on it and the customers seemed to have a clue. Yep, burrito please. Chicken. Black beans. Hot salsa. Corn salsa. Cheese. Lettuce. That's it. I had a drink back at the office, so no need for an overpriced soda that I wouldn't be refilling today.

I had never been to a Chipotle until my visit to this one. I was not impressed. The food was okay, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The chairs are not comfortable. The restaurant is loud. Perhaps some kind of floor covering would help with noise. The music is too loud. It's difficult to have a conversation. This particular location has one set of salt and pepper shakers made out of Tabasco bottles. There are too many other choices in the area. Chipotle seems like one of those places that wants to be hip and trendy on the surface, but in reality offers neither.

Best Chipotle in Maryland!!! Always come here to eat and the people who cook the chicken actually season it right, unlike other Chipotle's.

Drove across town only to find out that they felt like being closed in the middle of their business hours. Obviously won't be here again.

Good if your on the run or High .. The only thing the have healthy here is the BROWN RICE WITH CHICKEN and Peppers .. But once a month isn't so bad to eat if your stacking on the carbs ..

I enjoy chipotle. This particular location is a good one in my opinion. They move pretty fast, everything seems fresh, and they will always give you a little extra if you ask politely. I have never been charged double, like some of the other reviews have stated. I usually get either a burrito or a bowl, and you can never go wrong with their guac, its the best! The recipe for it is available online, if you ever want to make it in bulk, google it. The only time I pass this place up is if the line is going out the door, and even then sometimes I'll wait.

Absolutely, hands down, worst and most stressful Chipotle experience ever. I love chipotle, and the food is excellent, but the service was horrible. Let me preface this by saying that everyone working behind the counter was working far too quickly, yet didn't do a damned thing right, and took their time fixing their mistakes. They gave both my girlfriend and I single scoops when we asked for double, and when we asked for a second serving the lady serving meat had an attitude about how we didn't say it originally Funny thing is, I don't think she had even heard us in the first place, because she ignored both of us and the guy scooping rice, and was facing backwards talking to the guy at the meat table. We waited over two minutes for her to acknowledge that we were there. Second, the lady doing condiments added hot sauce to my girlfriend's meal. She didn't ask for hot sauce, she asked for tomatoes. The lady had added hot sauce before my girlfriend had even said "tomatoes". And then when we corrected her and said it was wrong, both the condiment lady and the meat lady took their sweet time correcting the error- it took us saying that we didn't want hot sauce, twice, to even be offered a replacement. The guacamole lady then forgot my girlfriend's lettuce, and the burrito bowl was already being packed into a bag before we got her attention. By that point we had given up on correcting, as the entire serving line was moving too quickly to be accurate and didn't seem to care about customer service. While serving my guacamole, half of the scoop missed the container, because she was busy talking to the lady in front of us about her kids. The only person there who was friendly and accurate was the very first dude, the one wrapping burritos and setting up the bowls. All in all, I hate that there isn't a different chipotle close enough to merit the drive, and I wish we had complained to management. Instead, we decided to GTFO before something else went wrong.

This used to be our fav chipotle. Now is getting worse and worse. Service is horrible, they are always out of stuff. And they are giving less and less food.

If you were to be an innocent onlooker while I'm in line at Chipotle, you may be a bit confused. From the looks of it, my fidgeting may lead you to believe I have confused the burrito line for the bathroom line. I guess you could call that series of spastic movement, my hungry dance. The truth is, if I'm at Chipotle, it probably means I'm starving. This is when the line always seems to move the slowest. This is also the time that a girl who once ate two burritos in one sitting all of a sudden can't finish her damn burrito bowl! This location does a pretty good job at getting you in and out, line or not. There is also plenty of seating available even during peak hours. I really need to start ordering ahead to prevent my hungry dance from occurring in public.

I love love love chipotle, my daughter was not really into it but now she loves it too. I thought that I would start the new year to a good start with chipotle. I was so wrong, they usually close at 10 PM. I went with my daughter on 12 3114, she loves the Guacamole and it is so good. We got two burritos and three burrito bowls, so while we were fixing the food I ask for gucamole, the girl behind the counter looked at me like I was speaking a foreign-language. Her response was" you don't see right so we don't have any. It was early how the hell do you not have any and at that they where rude. She then started to speak to the cashier in Spanish about how stupid people where." Esta es tonta oh, no ve el pinche coso y pregunta q le pongan" I gave her a dirty look and told her I was Spanish and understood everything she said. Not once did she says sorry. The one behind the register didn't even bother to apologize after she lighter at what the other one said. Chipoe! word to the wise next time you want to speak about someone in Spanish make sure you do you don't understand you, just because I don't look Spanish does not mean I'm not Spanish. I love chipotle and it's two minutes away, thanks to this experience I don't think I'll be going back anymore. So sad because I love it so much. Damn I guess I'm going to have to drive all the way to College Park whenever I want some good chipotle, instead of the two minute drive. If it was up to me I would not give it a -Star.

Now let me start out by saying I love Chipotle. I really do. AT EVERY OTHER LOCATION. However, the wisdom of putting this place at the Aspen Hill Shopping Center where parking (especially within 5 miles of the Chipotle door) is scarce, and the parking lot itself was designed by an alligator on LSD. The planners decided to add to the fun by putting a bank and a big MickeyDs in the parking lot. So when you walk through the door, you're already in a great mood. The acoustics are so bad that the poor people behind the counter can't hear you, so I resorted to pointing at the condiments that I would like, to which I got, "DON'T TOUCH". I simplified my order significantly before proceeding to the register, only to find my car blocked in. By someone. In a legit parking spot. Please move to the Rock Creek Village Shopping Center and make everyone happy. Thanks Bye

I have never had a bad experience until today when they decided to start hiring male teenagers who couldn't understand what I asked for. I ordered two bowls. They charged me for extra meat when I didn't ask for it. One bowl they had an extra scoop so I was like fine they did put in more. The second one, they put in maybe 3 pieces tops and they said it was extra. That was $5 extra worth of NOT worth meat. Could have just bought another bowl. Two stars because the former employees were great!

Unfortunately, went back today with co-workers. Not my idea. I gave in because I had thought the place might have changed. My mistake. It's worse. Even stingier with the chicken; then they want to charge double for a second mini-scoop. LOL. So they give you less, so they could "double" the chicken, and double the price. Avoid this place like the measles! I'll go to Five Guys next time my office mates hit this place up.

How many ways can I say it "You cannot go wrong with Chipotle ever!!!" You are builing the darn meal yourself so you can have it your way. So here is the thing, whenever I come home I always hit up Chipotle simply because of it's convenient location. Located not too far from house (literally it is less than a 5 minute drive if you want to get technical) the line moves pretty quickly. And the service is great

This Chipotle always seems to be super crowded, but the friendly workers get you in and out in no time. I usually get a barbacoa burrito bowl with bell peppers black beans, salsa (mild and hot), cheese, and lettuce...delicious! What I like about this particular Chipotle is that they usually don't skimp out on the meat...they give you a generous portion. I usually get my order to go, but they have a nice outside patio to eat at if the weather is nice. BTW-there are tons of shops in the center where this Chipotle is located, so finding parking could be rough sometimes.

This chipotle is still good but I've noticed at this one and others that they don't pay much attention to personal preferences. I always ask for a little sour cream and I've found that they'll put the regular amount on sometimes. Also, with the salsa, they'll assume that you want mild right away but I never do. I know they have the assembly line down to a science, but attention to detail would be nice!

  • Ang W.

"Just a little sour cream, please" actually translates to the biggest portion of sour cream? It was like sour cream soup, not Chipotle in a bowl. Not acceptable.

This Chipotle is located in the Aspen Hill Shopping Center. Lots of parking, so no worries about that. Chipotle is one of my favorite places for a quick grab-n-go meal. Steak burrito, extra rice, pinto beans, corn, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce please!! One of the things I hate the most is when i get a loose wrap-job on my burrito. No one likes a loose wrap-job. I would advise best time to go is during lunch, yes during lunch time. Yeah it is probably pretty busy, but i feel it is worth the wait in line to get that Varsity A TEAM on the line. Any other time, you are rolling the dice to see if you end up getting that JV B TEAM loose wrap-job. Nothing sucks more than everything inside my burrito to come out prematurely from a loose wrap-job.

Fast service, lots of parking, great food. One of the best Chipotle locations I've ever been to. The wonderful people making the food here are very nice, listen well, and are never chatty with each other (which is my biggest beef with some other Chipotle locations). When the line was to the door, I was a little worried, but things went super fast, the fastest I've had at any Chipotle!

I've never had an issue with this location before...until last night. I had a chicken burrito and something inside (most likely undercooked chicken) gave me food poisoning. Horrible experience. Won't be going back. It's a real shame because the location always appears to be well maintained and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Um, it's a Chipotle. What else is there to say? Nah, I'll give it a real review. I mean, yeah it's Chipotle and I will admit I kinda do wanna tour all of their restaurants. mmm. mmm. mmm. Regardless, this one is nice, the staff is helpful, they hook it up on portion sizes, the outdoor seating area is large, well-lit and has speakers so they can play music. Oh and THEY HAVE BATHROOMS WITH STALLS! Did you notice the plural there? That is right, stalls. That is so awesome. I am sorry, please forgive me if that is not the highlight of your day but coming from NYC any place that has the room to put in multiple restrooms is so freaking cool in my book. WOW. It's way cool.

I love chipotle food, only reason I'm giving 3 stars. I've done the online ordering thing a few times and every single time they've messed up my order. I order that way when I'm at work across the street and obviously I can't leave work to go back again so they can get my order right. I called to speak to a manager after this happening more than once. The phone was handed off to another person after I asked for the manager, I explained to her the situation and after a long pause she asked if I could repeat what I said but in Spanish.. really? Your manager can't even speak English?

Most chipotles don't disappoint. Staff was very friendly, definitely more friendly than most locations I've visited. They give out great portions and definitely listen to your requests. I hate when I go to a chipotle and they rush me or over-antcipate what they think they know I want in my bowl. This location is not like that. Go eat chipotle!

  • Sika A.

After all the bad experience I had at other Chipotle locations in the DMV area, I must say love Chipotle location in Aspen Hill, the staff are nice and the food is always well cooked. For someone that eats at Chipotle at least 4 times a week, I appreciate their service.

Good parking, quick service, friendly staff, and always a seat when you need it. Even when the line is out the door, you are through the line in very short order. Definitely one of the better Chipotle locations out there.

Ehhh....Moe's without the screaming. Didn't South Park shred this place in an episode, too? It was OK. For the crowd it had, we moved through fast. The guy slapped a metric ton of guacamole on my tacos, though. It was salty. The chips and salsa were OK. If you like medium hot, pony up for the "hot" cos medium was a wimp sauce. One plus here is that they put calorie ranges for their food up, so if you are health conscious and tracking calorie info for yourself you will have an idea of what each meal is getting you into here.

burritos for 6 something, double meet for $4 more. Personally, i like to customize my selections. Like a burrito bowl with tortilla on the side or, dare i say taco shells OTS! I get so clepto when going there with the sauces to take home. My conscience gets the better of my though, so finish half the bottle instead :)

I've been living in the area for about 2 years now, and I always go to this Chipotle. Lately I have been noticing a huge change. The place is dirtier, the people are rude and not customer service oriented. I bought 2 burrito bowls today and took them home. As I was eating, I first encountered a piece of avocado peel, but I ignored it. Then as I kept eating, I noticed that I had chewed onto something hard... I took it out of my mouth and It was a COCKROACH!!! I almost died! I couldn't believe it! I am totally contacting the MD Health Department and complaining so no one else encounters this problem. This is RIDICULOUS!

Some people love chipotle others see it as expensive taco bell. I will take taco bell any day over this place. If your going to make me a part of the assembly line at Least have the decency to put up a brick wall and call it a drive thru so we don't have the awkward experience in line that is chipotle

    (2)
  • Fuad A.

the place is allways packed but the line goes really fast.the only problem i have is they put so little meat,i pay for extra meat but they still give me just a little.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
